A Joke a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Celebrating National Humor Month with Laughter

April Fool’s Day has already passed, but you should celebrate humor all month long! Laughter counteracts stress, pain, and conflict. It helps relax muscles, release anger, and boost infection-fighting antibodies. With that in mind, read, chuckle at, and share the following jokes and sayings.

Enjoy three stages of life:

You believe in Santa Claus.
You are Santa Claus.
You look like Santa Claus.

As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang. Answering, he heard his wife’s voice urgently warning him, “Herman, I just heard on the news that there’s a car going the wrong way on I-280. Please be careful!”

Herman replied, “It’s not just one car. It’s hundreds of them!”

A reporter interviewing a 104-year-old woman asked, “And what do you think is the best thing about being 104?”

She simply replied, “No peer pressure.”

An elderly woman decided to prepare her will and told her preacher she had two final requests. First, she wanted to be cremated, and second, she wanted her ashes scattered over Walmart.

“Wal-Mart?” the preacher exclaimed. “Why Wal-Mart?”

She explained, “Then I’ll be sure my daughters visit me twice a week.”

We’ll give the last word to Mr. Bob Hope, who said, “You know you’re getting old when the candles cost more than the cake.”
